We had a fun workshop today with Elizabeth guiding us through the making of this bag "The Best Bag Ever" from a magazine. All were different and each one was great. Fiona brought her new puppy Toby with her and he was a very good boy indeed.
The Guild's Show Oct 19th and 20th was fabulous. Unfortunately I forgot my camera and don't know how to retrieve photos from other sources but my friend Joanne has them on her blog.
Next week I'll be off to Philly to visit MAtt for my "big" birthday, yikes!

It's been so long that I posted new pictures that the format has changed.
Here are some small quilts that I will put in the Kincardine Guild For The Birds Show this month. The only new one is the Witch. The Leaves and Acorns is a wool felt table topper. That was made 3 years ago during my recouperation from hip surgery. I love wool felt hand applique, no edges to turn under. The Divas is a pettern from a magazine that must be about 5 years old. My friend had it on the wall in her Sunshine Fabric Shop during Pumpkinfest one year. And how long ago did that close? The leaves table runner is from an Elm Creek pattern free brochure from the same shop. Some of the fabric is Elm Creek by Red Rooster from there as well. The little ghost is paper pieced and usually hangs on my door at Halloween but that spot is going to the witch this year. The fall applique was one of my first free motion meanders.
I didn't do anything to enter into the Challenge at the show.
